This time last year I was in the States for a few days and it was very hot. This year I stay home and am even hotter!
It’s a different type of heat, I know that may sound strange and it’s hard to explain, I guess it has something to do with the humidity level.
For the first time since I can remember we were given an ‘SWW’- severe weather warning because of the heat. This is England dammit!
It had been a glorious day and around 9pm we decided to go for a walk to the beach in the hope of catching a little breeze. We didn't catch the breeze but we did mange to stuff our faces.
..and not a drop touched my hand!

Yay...now that's the way to do it lol
Yum...did you actually get any on your lips?
I have a comment but I don't think its good for public...... *winks*
Sinora’s journal had me thinking about birds today.
So here’s the deal, we have seagulls out where I live and they don’t really tweet as much as have a growl and bark that can at times force me to turn up my music.
When you go to the beach and open up the tupperware and take out a sandwich they spot you from way up high and land just feet from you, you have know idea how intimidating they are, if you clap (to scare them off) they tilt there head to one side and look at you like you’re crazy!
Oh one more thing, if you have a car, don’t park under a tree! They can crap for England; in fact they can do as much devastation as a WW2 bomber.

I remember the seagull warnings in and around town a couple of years ago. Seems people were actually being attacked for their food!
When I was a kid out for a day at the beach I was actually attacked by a seagull who pinched my lunch. Nowadays I'd put up a better fight lol
Oh wow, you didn't see that coming!
Now you try swimming the widest sea or climbing the highest peak!
To quote Dylan, " You take just like a woman, And you wake just like a woman And you make love just like a woman, But you break just like a little girl''

All I can do is laugh. Baby you have no idea what heat is untill you have spent a summer in St. Louis. We have heat and humidity that when you walk out the door you are instantly wet and cann't breath......it feels like a 20 lb weight has been dropped on your chest.
Besides.......doesn't your heat only last a few days?? xoxoxoxo
